Washington DC

Hello.
Mike and I are in Washington DC where he is attending a conference with the other Fulbright Exchange Teachers- US and International. We have finally had the chance to meet Mrs. Rashmi Chopra who will be teaching in Mike's place. She is as wonderful and interesting in person as in her emails and on the phone. We have also met other Americans going to India as well as their Indian counterparts. There will be five US teachers in the Delhi area so we will have a few new friends in Delhi. One of our new friends, Kim from NYC has shared her blog with me and has inspired me to set up one for our family. I hope to add links and photos so family and friends can chart our progress on our journey. So far it hasn't been too difficult and I'm sure Quinn and Grant can help me. I will wrap up this posting as I have to attend a meeting with other spouses and I plan on taking the Metro into the city to see a museum or monument or two. There will be much more to follow.
